      It is with great pleasure that we announce a new series of Chen Style Taiji Quan seminars and classes taught by Master Florin Szondi and hosted by the  Romanian Association of Traditional Chen Taiji Quan during the period of October 24 – November 11 in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Alba Iulia, Romania. The whole program is structured such that both the beginners as well as the more advanced practitioners can participate, consolidate and improve their knowledge and practice whether for health purpose or instructional one.

     The first seminar will focus on learning the basic principle and elements of Chen style (QiGong - Daoyin Tuna exercises, postures and movement practice, 13 Forms routine). The second seminar will focus on the learning and consolidation of the oldest form of Chen style Taiji Quan – Lao Jia Yi Lu, the learning of the basic techniques of Tui Shou (Pushing Hands, Practice with Partner), and not lastly, the martial art applications of the Chen forms.

     The World Health Organization considers Taiji Quan to be the most efficient organized system of physical activity for maintaining and improving health. At the same time, it is also acknowledged that the origin of this system is the Chen style martial art created by Chen family in Chen Jia Gou more than three centuries ago. Today, this holistic martial art system is practiced all over the world for achieving the internal energetic harmony, improving the physical strength, mental and emotional balance and not lastly, for attaining the martial arts self-defense skills. Taiji Quan can be considered a true expression of the traditional Chinese thought process, which synthesizes the martial art, holistic and philosophical fields into one single and coherent curriculum.

     Master Florin Szondi has graduated Magna Cum Laude the Institute of Physical Education Bucharest. Since then, Prof. Szondi has accumulated more than 47 years of extensive practice and pedagogical experience in professional sport education. He is a founder member of the Romanian Federation of Martial Arts, has been awarded multiple Master of the Year titles by USA Hall of Fames, has won multiple national and international champion titles in Taiji Quan, and not lastly, has been awarded the title of Master of Sports by the Romanian Ministry of Youth and Sport.

Prof. Szondi has been recognized as the 20^th generation of the Chen style Taiji Quan family. He is the disciple of Grand master Zhu Tian Cai and equally studies Chen style under the guidance of the other two representatives of the 19^th generation of Chen style, Grand master Chen Zhenglei and Grand Master Chen Xiaowang.

     Due to his teaching methodology, the results achieved by his students all over the world, and not lastly, his enthusiasm and generosity, Master Florin Szondi is highly recognized internationally. SEMINARII DE TAIJI QUAN STILUL CHEN TRADITIONAL IN ROMANIA OCTOMBRIE - NOIEMBRIE2012

     

     Avem deosebita placere sa va anuntam ca Asociatia Romana de Taiji Quan Stilul Chen Traditional organizeaza in perioada 24 Octombrie - 11 Noiembrie in Bucuresti o serie de seminarii si clase de Taiji Quan Stilul Chen care vor fi conduse de Maestrul Florin Szondi. Structura seminariilor si claselor permite abordarea tematicilor atat de la nivelul de initiere al incepatorilor cat si de la cel de consolidare si perfectionare al celor avansati sau interesati de a deveni instructori.
     Primul seminar va avea ca tematica invatarea elementelor si principiilor de baza ale stilului Chen( exercitii QIGONG - DAOYIN TUNA, POSTURI, DEPLASARI,13 FORME CHEN - TAOLU) Cel de-al doilea seminar va cuprinde invatarea si consolidarea celei mai vechi forme(taolu) de taijiquan stil chen - LAO JIA YI LU, INVATAREA ELEMENTELOR TEHNICE DE BAZA DE TUI SHOU(exersarea cu partener)  si  APLICATII MARTIALE ALE FORMELOR CHEN.
Tin sa reamintesc faptul ca Organizatia Mondiala pentru Sanatate considera Taiji Quan-ul ca fiind cel mai eficient sistem organizat de activitate fizica folosit in vederea pastrarii si imbunatatirii sanatatii. Pe de alta parte trebuie cunoscut si faptul ca acest sistem este la origine un stil martial creat in cadrul familiei Chen in localitatea Chen Jia Gou cu mai mult de trei secole in urma.
     Astazi pretutindeni in  lume acest sistem holistic si martial este practicat cu scopul obtinerii armoniei interne energetice, puterii fizice, echilibrului emotional si mental si nu in ultimul plan al formarii deprinderilor martiale de autoaparare. Intr-un deplin inteles al cuvantului el poate fi considerat o expresie vie a gandirii traditionale chineze ce sintetizeaza intr-o programa coerenta si accesibila domeniul martial, holistic si filozofil.

IN MEMORIA CHIPULUI PIERDUT(3)

Cum ar fi sa traim fara a fi nevoiti sa ne cerem scuze? 
Cand straiele poleite incep rand pe rand sa cada iar masca imposturii incepe sa ne insangereze fruntea impietrita de "succese" ne vom aduce aminte de noi insine si de ceilalti din jurul nostru. Vom intelege ca nu muschii ci sufletul nostru nu va mai suporta durerea neamplinirii cauzata de impostura. 
Drumul spre natura noastra divina cere sacrificii si renuntare la falsul confort oferit de toleranta si pasivitate. Da, fiecare pas doare dar vindeca! Pretul trebuie platit. Nu este alta cale. Este Legea Universului! Ea, nu poate fi pacalita!
A venit deci timpul sa ne indreptam spatele incovoiat de greutatea rolurilor jucate de-a lungul vietii si sa urcam singuri pe rugul intrebarilor si raspunsurilor despre rostul cuvintelor si faptelor noastre. Nu-i usor sa calcam pe pietrele incinse ce poarta amprentele mainilor noastre. Da, sunt pietrele pe care le-am aruncat de atatea ori in cei din jur. Acum sunt chiar sub talpile noastre si ne ard... Cu cat ne ard mai tare cu atat ne vindecam mai profund. Primeste deci cu iubire durerea arderii chipului pe care ti l-ai plamadit fara rost sperand ca nu vei fi niciodata intrebat de ce o faci. Acolo se ascund acele intentii care ne imping sa ridicam "piatra" printr-un gest ce pare a fi automat.

Imaginati-va! Cum ar arata cerul plin de pietre azvarlite tot timpul, de toti, catre toti? Ar fi un cer impietrit. Probabil dupa pietre ar urma caramizile caselor, televizoarele, scaunele, frigiderele... Urmarea ar fi ca toti, doctori si pacienti am umbla incoace si in colo cu capetele bandajate in cautare de noi "surse" de exprimare. Ce ocupati am fi... Ce Cariera, de piatra ar fi intreaga lume! Am fi in stare sa creem si o Bursa! Cine da mai mult, cine primeste... Poate ca de aceea DUMNEZEU cand l-a creat pe om a creat si forta gravitatiei. A stiut El de ce...

Se spune ca vine vremea sa ne despartim de toate si sa nu luam nimic din aceasta lume pe care credem ca o stapanim. Ce folos mai au atunci impostura? Ca sa obtinem ce? Ceva ce nu va fi niciodata o mostenire demna de lasat in urma? E timp pierdut! E Globalizarea Goanei dupa Vant!

Priveste-ti mainile si inima si ai sa vezi ca Dumnezeu nu ti-a pus acolo nici invidie, nici ura, nici manie, nici pietre! Ti-a pus un dar ce-l poti oferi cu simplitate tuturor... Nu-ti fie teama sa-l imparti cu ceilalti! Nu se va termina decat atunci cand nu vei mai vrea sa-l impart cu altii. Nu-ti fie teama sa lasi in urma chipul tau cioplit si arunca-te cu bratele deschise in imensitatea adevaratei tale fiinte! Este un singur salt, un salt al renasterii! Fa-l si ai sa descoperi ca poti trai infinit fara a fi nevoit sa-ti ceri scuze. Vei deveni Tot, VEI DEVENI!

IN MEMORIA CHIPULUI PIERDUT(2)

Fără a avea intenția de a generaliza, in prima parte a acestei postări am folosit cuvantul "unii". Aș fi vrut să fiu mai precis in exprimare dar vedeți, nu a fost posibil. Ştiți că cei ce sunt primii la datul cu pietre sunt si primii care își ascund identitatea! "Hit and run!" Un amic imi spunea nu demult ca: "acestia sunt cei ce se ascund si nu-i caută nimeni..." Amuzant si trist, nu-i așa?

Sa stiti ca nu doresc să schimb Karma nimănui. Luminații lumii ne-au invațat că insăși această intenție este o greșală Karmică. 

Din vremuri vechi, am fost cu sau fără voia noastră "ajustați" să fim ingăduitori cu toți cei care ne agresează constant. Ne-am clădit cu stoicism si chiar cu mândrie națională acea ințelepciune a răbdării născută din frica de "a nu fi mai rău, mâine" facand din asta un mod de viata. Uităm cu prea multă ușurință că fiecare Mâine trebuie să fie un plus dat zilei de Ieri si de Azi. 

De câte ori aud acea "vorbă de duh": "Capul tăiat sabia nu-l taie" nu pot să nu mă gândesc la  onoare, demnitate, onestitate, concepte care apără ca un scut identitatea individului si a societăți. Care dintre părinții neamului omenesc ne-a invățat să privim cerul in genunchi si cu capul plecat?  A-ți uitat că nu cei cu capetele plecate au demascat coruptia, minciuna si impostura? Ei sunt stâlpii lumii! Cei care au avut tăria să rămana nemiscați in fata raului care izvorăste de cele mai multe ori chiar in noi. 

Capul plecat nu ne salveaza ci ne ucide spiritual. Suntem morți pentru tot restul zilelor noastre. In fața "sabiei" ne dovedim marțialitatea. Nu pot și nu vreau să accept să plec capul atunci când m-i se cere "prietenește" să cumpăr falsurile vândute de scenariști indoielnici. Chemările lor "duioase" imi sună zilnic în urechi: Veniți! Vă rog să intrati, azi se joaca actul final al dezintegrării identitătii umane! Intrati, vă rog, impostura este gratis...dacă vă grăbiți veți putea să prinde locuri in față, să vedeți, să simțiți să beneficiați... Se joacă live, pe viață si pe moarte!... URCAȚI PE SCENĂ!

Ne-familiarii, se vor grăbi cu siguranță să participe la Cursurile de Educare a Toleranței. Au aflat ei de la "prieteni" că asta este calea succesului. Aaa!... nu vă ingrijorați impostura este inofensivă ne vor spune ei dupa cursuri. Priviți cât de repede ne-am familiarizat! Suntem acum o Familie!

Vă lăsați inșelați cu bună stiință! Impostura este invazivă. Se strecoară in toate ungherele sufletului fără măcar să ne dam seama. Diagnosticarea si vindecarea ei costă vieți, destine, libertăți, timp si timpuri. Nu se vindecă râzând toata ziua cu gurile până la urechi. Pasivitatea si non-actiunea sunt aliați ei. Este contagioasa! Tolerarea imposturii inseamnă complicitate, autodesființare spirituală, robie, death end! Nu poți fi marțial dacă o ignori si te ascunzi cu ipocrizie in spatele falsei ingăduințe, tăcând și trăind cu speranța de a nu fi mai rău. Ce poate fi mai rău decat să te auto-condamni la moarte spirituală? ...să traiești fără trecut, fără prezent, fără viitor... Nu ai nici o scuză...

IN MEMORIA CHIPULUI PIERDUT(1)

...Văzând puterea si măreţia leului, un măgar se hotărâ să devină regele animalelor. Intr-o bună zi, găsi din întamplare o piele de leu şi îi trecu prin minte că visul vieţii lui va putea deveni realitate. A luat pielea şi s-a acoperit cu ea. Apoi s-a urcat pe vârful unui deal şi a inceput sa urle cât îl tinu puterile sperând că toate animalele din lume auzind-ui urletul, i se vor supune de indată. După un timp insă aflându-se prin preajmă, un leu înfometat l-a auzit, s-a apropiat de el şi bineinteles că l-a mâncat imediat.

Morala: Degeaba te acoperi cu blana leului dacă urli toată ziua ca un măgar...

Sunt unii care susţin că arta lor marţiala este cea mai eficientă, cea mai veche, şi singura în măsură să satisfacă aşteptarile celor insetaţi de cunoastere. Nu-i nimic rău în a crede în ceea ce faci si a continua să depui eforturi susţinute pentru a atinge nivele superioare de cunoastere. Lucrurile se schimbă însă atunci când te îndepartezi de la această cale si îti croiesti drum insultând si împroscând cu noroi totul în jurul tău. Nu este nici o marţialitate în asta!
Incapabile să definească domeniul la care spun că se pricep, aceste persoanaje mioritice îşi promovează  invincibilitatea cu atata înverşunare încât aproape te conving că te afli în fata celor mai mari experţi ai domeniului. Ei spun că arta lor marţială si modul în care o practică, este imposibil de găsit, pentru că nu se mai practică nicaieri si de nimeni(???). Mai mult de atat, aflăm, tot de la ei, că nici măcar descendenţii celor care au creat scoli, stiluri, si sisteme martiale consacrate cum ar fi de exemplu TAIJI QUAN, KARATE-DO, JU-JIUTSU, TAE KWON DO, nu stiu despre nimic despre această artă practicată de ei. Dar ei, si numai ei, stiu totul!... si chiar fără să le-o ceară nimeni, recomandă, apreciază si decid cine este şi cine nu este, demn de urmat. Evident că, toate drumurile indicate de ei duc tot spre ei. 
Aceste genii fără chip şi nume pretind orice si oricum sperând că pot umbri efortul tuturor celor care se străduiesc să contributie la promovarea artei marțiale ca sistem de educare si instruire fizică, morală si spirituală si nu doar ca pe o bataie asa cum o inţeleg ei. In lipsa argumentelor de ordin metodic  şi pedagogic ei recurg la denigrare, dezinformare si minciună. Din ascunzătorile lor, construite din materiale furate de ici, de colo, îsi ademenesc "Clientii" prin "demonstraţii de perspicacitate" fără noimă făurindu-şi impostura la focul invidiei si al neputinţei. Ei uită ca marţialitatea are la bază moralitatea.

Ştiu, de o parte si de alta a "tarabei" comercianţii şi avizii de chilipiruri vor spune: ...sa vândă! doar este economie de piaţă! Un pic de impostură nu strică nimanui, este inofensivă... am luat si noi! Se consuma dimineaţa, la prânz, şi...mai tot timpul.


Probabil că cei ce vor citi aceste rânduri se vor intreba dacă mai are sens să se implice, să aibă opinii sau măcar să facă efortul să discearnă. Mă refer la curajul de a refuza oferta, recomandările si "expertiza" celor ce joacă rolul de indicatoare pe un drum pe care nu-l cunosc. Mă refer mai ales la forţa de a crede in valorile morale ce ne ajută pe toţi să rezistăm tentaţiei de a "cumpăra" identitaţi false. Acelora care ezita le-aşi adresa aceasta intrebare:

Credeti că renunţarea, pasivitatea sau toleranţa va avea vreo dată puterea sa demaşte impostura celor fara chip si nume? 


Eu cred că opiniile celor care vor avea curajul să răspundă acestei intrebări, chiar si in gând, au devenit vitale azi, când aceşti intruşi, in goana lor nebună după audiență şi "SUCCESURI" tind să devină modele pentru cei din jur. Cred de asemenea că fiecare întrebare pe care ne-o punem deschide uşa unei opţiuni şi fiecare răspuns poate fi un pas spre schimbarea la faţă a zilei de mâine, într-una mai bună decât cea de azi. Răspunsurile nu le vom găsi în afara noastră! Ele sunt sădite in noi de la facerea lumii. Ca să le găsim trebuie doar să ne aplecăm cu smerenie asupra propriei noastre fiinte, să ascultăm, să vedem, să simţim si să inţelegem că Adevărul, Viata si Calea nu pot fi negociate la târgul de vechituri. 

Aceasta este adevărata cale martiala! Aceasta este calea măiestriei marţiale de a deveni tu insuţi. 
Viaţa noastră este o inlănţuire de oportunităţi si alegeri. Tu, cititorule, ce Cale vei alege?

IN THE MEMORY OF THE LOST FACE(1)

Seeing the lion’s greatness and power, the donkey was dreaming of becoming the animals’ king. One day, the donkey found a lion’s fur. Suddenly, he realized that its dream might become reality. It took the fur and cover with it. It, then, went on the top of a hill and started raging as strong as it could hoping that all animals will hear it and become its servants immediately. After a while, a lion heard it. The lion was hungry, though; it got closer and ate the donkey. 

Moral: It is useless to cover with the lion’s fur, if you continue raging like a donkey…

There are some that argue that their martial art is the most efficient, the oldest, and the only one able to satisfy the expectations of all those thirsty of knowledge. There is nothing wrong with believing in what you do and continuing to invest effort to achieve higher levels of knowledge. Things are changing, however, when you drift from this path and create your way by insulting everything and everybody around you. There is no martiality in this!

Incapable of defining what they are good at, these characters promote their invincibility so fiercely that you are almost convinced you are facing the greatest experts in the field.  They sustain that their martial art and their way of practice are impossible to find anywhere because nobody practices it anywhere anymore (???). We are surprised to find out, from them of course, that even the descendants of those who created great and consecrated martial arts schools, styles and systems (such as TAIJI QUAN, KARATE-DO, JU-JITSU, TAE KWON DO, etc) do not know what it is about. But, these characters know; they know everything…They are also the ones, who, without being asked by anybody, recommend, appreciate and decide who is worth following or not. Obviously, all paths recommended by them are guiding everybody towards them and their corner. It is quite a miracle that after hundreds of years, they are the only ones who have discovered the true source of this long forgotten art. 

These geniuses without a face have come to pretend anything in any way hoping they could shadow the efforts of all those who are trying hard to contribute and promote the martial art as an educational system of physical, moral and spiritual instruction. Their arguments, of course, are not rooted in methodology or pedagogy; they are generated through denigration, misinformation and lies.  From their hidden places, built from materials stolen from here and there, they tempt their “clients” through demonstrations of perspicacity without any sense, intended to promote the scarcity of knowledge rather than the historical truth. They “model” their image at the fire of envy and incapacity forgetting the humbleness and sincerity that one has to have when facing knowledge.

I know: today’s businessmen will say: ..let them sell! This is market economy! A little bit of imposture will not hurt anybody…it’s inoffensive…we bought some as well, it is good for image!

Most likely, those who are reading these lines we’ll ask themselves if there is any reason in involving, having any opinions, faith or making any decisions. I am referring here to having the courage to refuse the offer, the “expertise” of those who are assuming this character of guide on a path that they don’t know themselves. I am especially referring here to the power of resisting the temptation of “buying” false identities; the power of not negotiating the Path, Truth and Life at the flea market.  

Do you think that your passivity will have the power and strength to expose imposture? Do you think that tolerance will expose those without a face who are trying to achieve their “successes” among us?

The opinion of those courageous enough to answer these questions, even if only in thought, is necessary today more than any other day, as these universal intruders tend to become the “valued” references of today’s society. Every question we ask today will open the door to an option. Every answer can be a step towards the changing of tomorrow in a better day than today. You will not find the answers around you. All the answers are within us since the beginning of time; they are the milestones of our consciousness. We have to humbly lower ourselves within to find them; we have to learn to listen, see, feel and understand what our Creator wants from us.

This is the path of martial mastery of becoming you.
